Heating/Freezing Instructions

In the microwave: Heat in microwave for 1 to 3 minutes. (Lighter weight products require less heating time. Eye pillows will require only about 15). If microwave does not have a turn table, flip herb pack over 1/2 way through heating to avoid burning.

Cozy Products: Remove insert from shell before microwaving.

For a moister heat: mist with water before heating. Misting also increases life of the herbs by preserving freshness. When reheating, if Herb Pack is still warm, heat only for 1 to 2 minutes to prevent overheating.

Heat lasts for approximately 45 minutes. Heating for more than 3 minutes at once could result in overheating or burning. If pack seems too hot, let it cool prior to use.

Customers with pre-existing conditions (ie: diabetes) should consult a physician prior to use. Heating instructions for each item: Heating times may vary depending on microwave.

Peppermint Pack: Heating is NOT recommended Lavender & Cozy Eye Pillow: Heat 15 seconds. Additional heating in 10 sec intervals

Cozy Toes: Heat 30 sec to 1 minute

Cozy Spa, Lumbar, Heart: Heat 1 minute

Foot and Hand Warmers: Heat 1-2 minutes

Knee and Elbow Pack: Heat 1-2 minutes

Shoulder Wrap: Heat 1-2 minutes

Cozy Shoulder & Body Wrap: Heat 1-2 minutes

Basic Aromatherapy Pack: Heat 2 minutes

Neck Ring: Heat 2-3 minutes

Belted Lumbar Pack: Heat 2-3 minutes

Jumbo Pack: Heat 2-3 minutes

Warning: Do not overheat. Overheating may cause burns and will destroy the herbal contents. After heating, do not leave unattended or around children.

Remember, not all microwaves are the same. If you are not sure how long to heat your herb pack, less time is better, until you know.

For a Cold Pack: Place in a plastic bag and place in freezer for 1-2 hours. Pack will stay cold for up to 45 minutes. You can also store your herb pack in the freezer to always have a cold pack available.

To preserve freshness of the Herb Pack: Store in plastic bag in a cool dry place. Using a plastic bag in the freezer will also help your pack not absorb other smells.

To Clean: Wipe with damp cloth, lay flat to dry. Cozy products have a cover that may be placed in washer after removing herbal insert.
